August 2010 Featured Release The 2006 Eros Estate has a ruby red glow. The rich blackberry preserve and floral aroma fill the glass. Its velvety texture adds to its characters of fresh figs, blackberries, currants, roasted almonds, chocolate, dark roasted coffee beans and slight black pepper at the finish. This elegant blend is most enjoyed 15-20 minutes after decanting, and pairs nicely with roasted pork loin stuffed with goast cheese, sun dried tomatoes, and fresh herbs served with a side of sauteed vegetables and risotto. Our 2008 Chardonnay Reserve is a transparent pale yellow color. The aromas are green melon, tart apples, lemons, butterscotch, banana, and some pineapple. The delicious flavors of green apple, golden raisins, pineapple, mango dried banana, butterschotch, grapefruit, lemon zest, and slight toasted hazelnut characters are well balanced by the medium acidity, fruit forwardness; which helps add the smooth texture to this Chardonnay.
